Amanda Attaway

Thank you for your prayers for Amanda.  She had surgery yesterday.  They got all of both tumors out; it was not cancer and they did not have to do a hysterectomy. We praise God for answer to prayer!  Amanda is home and with a lot of rest will have a complete recovery.

Marita's granddaughter Lilly

I just heard from Cookie. Lilly is out of surgery and had no complications! They will get to see her in about an hour. The next 2 days will be hard but we are praising the Lord and still praying for all to go really well.  They are thanking all for the prayers and concerns.

Ben Carroll, Bob McClarys Brother-in-law

Ben had his first consultation with the Oncologist, Dr. Melear.  He explained to Ben that he wanted another PSA test in one month as he needs to see how fast the cancer is growing before he starts hormone treatments.  So, we do not have any news particularly, and though he told us this cancer is incurable the treatments usually give you more time.  We continue to ask for prayers as we would like this cancer to leave Ben's body and "leave our house"!

Please pray for healing for my neighbor's son, Todd Edgerly who has a brain tumor. He has been sent home from M D Anderson with no hope, but is currently doing somewhat better. Please pray for his family and friends also as this is so devastating to them. Please pray for strength for his family as they take care of him.

Bob McClary is out of surgery at Baptist.  He did fine.  No stints, but they did open the vein all the way to the foot.  They are keeping him over night.  No room assigned yet.

I would like to put a personal friend, Tom Warden, who lives in Cumming, GA on our prayer list.  He has just found out that he was a heart condition and other concerns, and is in the process of having tests run my his doctor.

I talked to Kaaren today and they are back home. The procedure took a little longer than expected but all went well. He will go back in one month for a check up. They greatly appreciated all of the prayers and concerns. They are glad to be home where they can get some good rest.
